The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
